The Blue Rose Path: From Steel Town to CEO

It’s been quite the rollercoaster, starting from a challenging childhood. I was always the girl with a big personality.

Growing up in a steel town, the common path laid out for me was pretty straightforward – maybe land a job at the local steel mill. But deep down, I always had this gut feeling that I was meant for something more, something bigger. Sure, I faced my fair share of setbacks. I even found myself homeless at one point, but life has a way of surprising you. I met my husband during these tough times, and together, we started building a life.

Fast forward to 1997, and there I was, brainstorming with millionaires and a billionaire about revolutionizing assisted living. That’s been my world ever since, advocating for better senior living spaces in Arizona.

Life’s also thrown me some personal curveballs, like my battles with alcohol and drugs. But in 2023, I turned a new leaf by quitting drinking. It was a game-changer. I even made a roadmap for myself, outlining who I wanted to be by the end of the year. Spoiler alert: I’m on my way there.

Looking back, I see all those chances I missed because I was scared to stand out, always thinking I was being noble by letting others have the spotlight. But not anymore. Now, my focus is on helping women find their own ‘Blue Rose.’ It’s all about healing, loving yourself, and stepping up your game in life and business.

I’m doing this through group coaching, writing a book about the Blue Rose journey, and planning some workshops and retreats. It’s about empowering women to love themselves fiercely and spread that love to the world around them.
