She Leads Confidently

Resilience

Rise up, keep going, believe in you!

How often have you failed? And I mean fail in a significant way. How are they able to pick themselves up and keep going? What are the intangibles? Is it faith? Hope? Trust?

I believe some people believe, rather know, there are more extraordinary things awaiting them. Each time they fail means they are much closer to their goal.

When I first started as the CEO of Arizona ALFA, our first conference, I fell off the stage. In front of many people who I just met. Embarrassing? Yes. I had never been a leader of anything except my childhood dog.

I knew I must get up, keep going, so I did.

That bad embracing outcome gave me confidence, and as my mom used to say, ‘that which does kill us makes us better.’ Guess what? She was right.

There are going to be good times and bad times. Good outcomes and bad. It is 100% up to the person whether to view it as something that happens in life and keep going, or allow it to define them.

Choose YOU. Know you are here for a reason. Find Your Why and Find Your Blue Rose.

Other’s Opinion of You

Is really none of your business.

As human beings, people get way to caught up in what other people think about them. That holds them back from going after their dream of starting a business, losing weight, applying for that new position or job.

It makes people hesitate to go all in. They are always creating doubts and fears in their life. However, these are all hidden self-created fears. How, because they allow what someone tells them to be more truth than what they tell themselves.

When you listen to others’ opinions of you, what you are hearing is their beliefs. Their values. They are planning their life experience into your life. Where it does not belong now or ever, this is like giving your power to another person who has no business in your business.

When people give you a negative opinion, you need to ignore it. Walk away or worst case, thank them, bless it and then let it go. There are zero reasons to listen to anyone other than you.

Own your mind. Understand what and where your Shadow Beliefs are and let’s get them to heal.

Janna Day

Lobbyist and Successful Business Owner

As the youngest of seven children, Janna learned early the importance of standing up and fighting for herself andwhat she believes in. From growing up on a ranch in rural Arizona to owning her own lobbying firm in Phoenix, AZ, Janna has accomplished more than most people do in a lifetime.

Janna overcame many challenges, including the loss of her mother during her first year of law school. Her mother was a strong influence and Janna believes she was instrumental in encouraging her never to accept less than she knew she was worth.

Because of this, Janna learned to advocate on her own behalf. Not to wait for permission, but to speak up and represent herself. Have unwavering faith in trusting her intuition and instinct. Because of these life lessons plus a large dose of good ol’ fashioned grit, Janna built a seven-figure consulting business.

She has been voted #1 lobbyist in Arizona and has many large corporate and trade association clients that trust her to help them achieve their goals through working with the diverse members of the Arizona legislature. Janna has accomplished this and much more, all while raising four children with the help of her childhood friend-turned husband Chris.

Janna is an influential woman who believes everyone has a voice, and that voice should be heard.
