In 2011 after pondering for oh I don’t know about 30 years I was finally going to write a book. It wasn’t going to be a tell all or a grand work of fiction it was going to be a book that would provide advice and motivation to people wanting to transform their personal and professional lives.

I wrote and worked on the book for months which then turned into years but I did finally finished it!

Wait, I knew it needed to be proofed so I sent it out for proofing and three months later sent it out again. Why?

Spent another four months on developing ‘just the right’ book cover. Why?

Took three more months formatting it in CreateSpace and Kindle so it would be PERFECT. Why?

Why? I got trapped in the PERFECT loop. I let fear creep in and I was paralyzed by that fear. I thought of a million things to do to stall my progress and my dreams.

FEAR was stopping me from ‘pressing the send button.’ I allowed fear to hold me back from sending my book out into the Universe. Fear was trying to stop me from following my life purpose!

Fear is a nasty traveling companion that must be beat constantly. The minute you take your eye off of that emotion fear comes over and gets comfy in your head. For some fear show up when things are going well and they convince themselves that things have to fall apart. Or the minute you try something for the first time fear tells you ‘no don’t do it’.
