I hope you took time to download the free Enchanted Leaders Life Plan.  This Life Plan is a tool to help you get started on planning for a successful 2013.

Each December I set both personal and professional goals for the upcoming year.  A five – six years ago I would meet maybe 10% of these goals but now I meet 95%.  (There is one I always fail to accomplish but I now know why and will now meet that goal as well.  But more on this goal and related challenging about way I could not accomplish it in at later blog.)

People set goals and do not accomplish them for a whole host of reasons.  The goals that were not really “their” goal, wrote down a goal they have no passion for or, worst yet, set goals because that is what you do at the end of the year.

Before you begin to set you goals for 2013 review 2012.  Take the time to write down what you accomplished both the positive and negative.  Heavy emphasis the positive!  Look at everything that went well for you in 2012.  I know you must review the negative but don’t focus on it or dwell on it.  The negative is what it is, that is all, look at it then move forward.

For  the next hour or so review each month in 2012 starting with January, February, March, etc and write down all your successes.
